DESIGN ASPECTS for ULTRA-HIGH-PERFORMANCE CONCRETE
Abstract
A brief survey is presented on the new material Ultra-High-Performance-Concrete (UHPC) and its application in pilot projects. The behaviour in compression and tension is described and design relationships are given. The tests exhibited a size effect especially for the flexural tensile strength, and the reason for this is explained by the fibre orientation.
