NON-LINEAR ANALYSIS ON PREFABRICATED SHEAR WALLS WITH VERTICAL JOINTS
Nowadays by exponential population rising, and cities expansion, making more residential and industrial centers are nessesary.One of the factors to deliberate this requirement faster is constructing prefabricated building. Although these systems have many benefits, they have some defects, especially in their joints. Vertical gaps have an important roll in building with prefabricated segments. The main roll of vertical gap is transferring shear forces, which are the result of lateral loads. In this research we have investigated, the non-linear behaves of vertical gap with corrected model of Chakrabarti  and the effects of some parameters such as pressure drag of joint concrete, passing reinforcements from, and crack in prefabricated segment. Results reveals, percentage of passing reinforcement, have an important roll on stiffness of structure, also considering non-linear linkage of shear-slip graph is more trustable than linear behavior.
