Abstract

Construction productivity is determined by a host of different factors surrounding the inputs, product, methods and work organization employed. Productivity improvement efforts require a rich systems description of the problematic situation in order to be effective. A study of the different schemes resulting from a review of national construction productivity revealed the state of implementation of the strategic thrusts identified and the critical gaps where further action is required.
